Orientation Programme held at MANUU CTE Aurangabad


Hyderabad:
Centre for Professional Development of Urdu Medium Teachers (CPDUMT), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) organized one day orientation program “21st Century Skills for Teachers”yesterday at it’s College of Teacher Education, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
Addressing the inaugural session, Dr. Shaikh Kaleemuddin, Director, Regional Academic Authority, Aurangabad said MANUU shall take the lead in proposing a research frame work to solve various problems plaguing the Urdu Medium Schools. This research will enable us to propose a firm policy to the government.
Sufi Laiq Ahmed, Deputy Education Officer, Aurangabad District Council was the guest of honour. Ms. Syeda Hajira Nausheen, I/c, CTE Aurangabad presided over.
More than 30 teachers from various Urdu medium Schools from Aurangabad and Marathwada participated in the program.
Prof. Mohd Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Director, Centre, briefed about the aims & objectives of the program. Dr. Mohd. Akbar, Assistant Professor was the convenor.
Later, Mrs. Syeda Hajira Nausheen delivered talk on “Life Skills”, Prof. Naveed-us-Sahar, Principal, Marathwada College of Education, Aurangabad spoke on “Learning Skills” and Khawaja Moinuddin spoke about “Digital Literacy” in technical sessions.
